Myth Poster

1989 was one of the most prolific years for System 3, the software house that churned out video game milestones such as International Karate +, The Last Ninja, Last Ninja 2, Tusker and Vendetta, when Myth: History in the Making also hit the shelves for Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum and Amstrad CPC.

The game is a success, both for the originality of the plot, where the protagonist is a teenager in jeans and jacket who will have to face puzzles and enemies in levels set in mythological eras, and for the care of the graphic aspect (Bob Stevenson), than for the soundtrack (Jeroen Tel). The code is by Peter Baron.

In honor of the fantastic cover of the game, we have digitally restored the poster that you can find below for download. It is worth noting that the cover was made in two different versions: in one the hero wears a red jacket and in the other, the restored version, he wears a black jacket.

The Amiga versions and the subsequent Amiga CD32 porting have a different protagonist, called Ankalagan, a warrior from 63 BC. and for this reason they use a totally different cover.

Below you can download the original poster of the Commodore 64 version.
